At PurityWave, we strive to protect the rights of content creators and users alike by complying fully with the DMCA. When we receive a properly formatted DMCA takedown notice, we are required to promptly remove or disable access to the infringing material. As stipulated by law, we may also share the contents of your DMCA complaint, including your contact details, with the user who posted the allegedly infringing content.

Submitting a Counter-Notification

If you are that user and believe that the removal of your content was due to an error or a case of mistaken identity, you are entitled to submit a counter-notification. Your response must include the following:

• A statement identifying the removed material and the location it previously appeared.
• Your full legal name, residential address, telephone number, and email address.
• A good faith declaration, under penalty of perjury, affirming that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• A statement indicating your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your locale (or any appropriate district if you live outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of legal process from the complainant.
• Your physical or digital signature.

After receiving the counter-notice, we are obligated to forward it to the complainant. If they do not respond with proof of legal action within 10–14 business days, we may, in our discretion, restore the content.
